The Department of Metal Physics is one of the leaders of the educational process and scientific research at KPI. We invite students who want to acquire quality knowledge, comprehend new horizons, become competitive and sought-after professionals, and have a successful career.
Our teachers are specialists directly involved at the highest level of innovation and active research and include 7 doctor-professors, 8 candidates of sciences (PhD), and 9 graduate students.
Most of our students and graduate students have the opportunity to receive training abroad in leading universities and research centers. The Department of Metal Physics provides the possibility to master modern software packages and a computer modeling environment. We develop and explore biocompatible materials, environmental technologies, computer design of materials, and nanotechnology.
The government of Ukraine pays all fees for 97% of our students – Ukrainian sitizens. All comers, without exception, are provided a room in the hostel.
